Set against the backdrop of Mt Taranaki, this track is all about rhythm and momentum. With sweeping corners and plenty of passing opportunities, it promises exciting battles and dramatic racing action.

• Flag marshals and additional race start officials for junior classes
• Junior-friendly race start procedures

• Practice sessions with race starts and rider assessments available before each round

Competition Classes

110cc Junior Competition Class 7–10-year-old
Capacity up to 110cc, air- or liquid-cooled, four-stroke; Automatic or semi-automatic

150/160cc Junior Competition Class 11 – 15-year-old
Capacity up to 160cc, air- or liquid-cooled, four-stroke; Manual

150/160cc Senior Competition Class 16+
Capacity up to 160cc, air- or liquid-cooled, four-stroke; Manual

190cc Open Competition Class 16+
Capacity up to 190cc, air- or liquid-cooled, four-stroke; Manual

Non-Competition Classes

110cc Automatic
Capacity up to 110cc, air- or liquid-cooled, four-stroke; Automatic or semi-automatic

150/160cc Manual
Capacity up to 160cc, air- or liquid-cooled, four-stroke; Manual

Riders competing in non-competition classes are not required to hold a license.

Riders entering competition classes must meet licensing standards to participate in the MiniGP Series.

Riders who do not hold an MNZ Competition License, or who cannot provide proof of MiniGP Academy NZ race assessment competency, are required to complete a competency assessment at an official MiniGP practice day before being permitted to enter competition classes.

Competency assessments are available for purchase via the online registration form and during practice day. 

Riders holding an MNZ Competition License may be required to complete an observed practice session to confirm readiness for competition, particularly where the rider has no prior experience on a tarmac circuit.
