Terms and conditions
For detailed information on rider eligibility, gear requirements, race procedures, penalties, and championship scoring, please refer to the official Pirelli MiniGP Series – Event Rules document. These rules form part of the conditions of entry and must be adhered to at all times.
1. General Acknowledgement
By registering for and/or participating in the MiniGP Series, the Rider and/or Guardian acknowledges and agrees to abide by all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by MiniGP Series officials, instructors, and staff. Participation is conditional upon acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. See also: Pirelli MiniGP Series – Event Rules for detailed operational procedures and rider responsibilities.
2. Authority & Conduct
- The Rider/Guardian agrees to follow all instructions, rules, and directions issued by MiniGP Series officials. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the current event and/or future events, at the sole discretion of the Organising Committee.
- The Rider/Guardian is responsible for the conduct of any spectators, family members, or invitees they bring to the event. Misconduct by these individuals may result in penalties or exclusion of the Rider.
3. Cancellation, Refunds & Force Majeure
- MiniGP Series Organising Committee intend on the event proceeding regardless of weather conditions. No refunds will be available for non-attendance due to weather.
- The following administration fee may apply to cancellations (at the discretion of MiniGP Series Organising Committee):
- Cancellation received 10 working days or more before the event - no charge
- Cancellation received 10 to 2 working days before the event – 25% of the event registration fee
- Cancellation received 1 working day or less before the event - 50% of the event registration fee
- Cancellation not received before the event – total event registration fee applies
- The MiniGP Series organising committee reserves the right to suspend, pause, or cancel any part of the event at its sole discretion if conditions pose a risk to health and safety.
- In the event of cancellation due to Force Majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, safety concerns), any refund will be at the sole discretion of the MiniGP Series Organising Committee.
- MiniGP Series will not be liable for any costs, damages, or losses incurred due to cancellation or alteration of the event.
4. Safety & Conduct
- Riders must wear all required safety gear, whether provided or self-supplied, and ensure it is used correctly. If unsure, riders must seek guidance from event staff.
- Riders must behave responsibly and ride safely at all times. Dangerous or reckless behavior may result in immediate exclusion from the event.
5. Equipment & Technical Compliance
- The Rider/Guardian confirms that the motorcycle entered complies with all applicable technical regulations as outlined in the MiniGP Series Technical Rules
- It is the responsibility of the Rider/Guardian to ensure ongoing compliance throughout the event.
- MiniGP Series officials reserve the right to inspect any machine at any time. Non-compliance may result in penalties or exclusion from the event.
- Riders are responsible for the cost of any technical inspections, including stripping and reassembly.
- MiniGP Series reserves the right to exclude any bike or equipment deemed unsafe or non-compliant.
6. Liability Waiver
- The Rider/Guardian acknowledges that motorcycle competition involves inherent risks, including injury or property damage.
- The Rider/Guardian agrees not to hold MiniGP Series, its officers, employees, or agents liable for any injury or damage incurred during the event.
- The Rider/Guardian indemnifies and holds harmless the MiniGP Series, its organisers, officials, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising directly or indirectly from participation in the event, including but not limited to injury, property damage, or breach of these Terms.
- This waiver extends to the Rider’s family, heirs, legal assigns, and administrators.
7. Privacy & Media Consent
- The Rider/Guardian consents to the collection and use of personal information for event administration and promotion.
- MiniGP Series may publish event results, photos, and media content featuring participants on social media and promotional materials.
- Participants have the right to access and request correction of their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
8. Drug & Alcohol Policy
- Riders may be subject to drug and alcohol testing at any time during the event.
- Refusal to comply or a positive test result may result in exclusion from the event and future participation.
- MiniGP Series supports the FIM/IOC Charter on drugs in sport and works with Sport Integrity Commission for testing.
9. Agreement
By submitting the registration form or participating in the event, the Rider/Guardian confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
